Private Hire at The Inglenook Studio
Whether you’re planning a birthday bash, a long-overdue catch-up, or just want a creative excuse to get your favourite people together, I’d love to host you! Every event is a little bit different, and I’m always up for a chat to help make your vision happen.
The Space is All Yours
When you book a private session, the doors are closed to the public so you have exclusive use of the studio. We have five tables of four, comfortably seating up to 20 guests—perfect for an intimate, buzzy atmosphere.
Make Yourself at Home
I want you to feel totally relaxed here, so I keep things flexible:
-
Drinks & Nibbles: You are more than welcome to bring your own alcoholic or soft drinks, plus any snacks you fancy. I’ve got the wine glasses, mugs, snack bowls, and plates ready for you to use.
-
The Cake: It’s not a party without cake! Bring your own along and I’ll provide the plates and even a knife to cut if with!
-
Decorations: Feel free to bring balloons or decorations to make the space your own.
-
If you need a caffeine fix, I also have tea and coffee available to purchase while you paint.
What Shall We Create?
You can book any of my usual workshops for a private session, but Pottery Painting is usually the crowd favourite.
It’s just so easy—your guests can choose their own pieces when they arrive, meaning they can pick something that suits their own style and budget. It’s low-pressure, super social, and everyone goes home with something they’ve actually made!
The Finer Details
-
Group Size: Minimum 10 guests / Maximum 20 guests.

-
I want your time at The Inglenook Studio to be as relaxed as possible!
-
To keep things running smoothly and ensure I have everything prepped for your group, here is how the booking process works:
-
1. Securing Your Date
-
Once we’ve found a date that works for you, I will hold it for 7 days. To officially get your event in the diary, I require a booking fee of 50% (based on our 10-guest minimum).
-
Please note: If the booking fee isn't received within those 7 days, the date will be released back to the general public.
-
2. Finalising Your Party
-
Two weeks (14 days) before your event is our "Final Countdown" point:
-
Confirm Numbers: This is when you let me know exactly how many people are coming (between 10 and 20).
-
Settling Up: The remaining balance is due at this time.
-
The Private Link Option: If you’d prefer your guests to pay for themselves, I can set up a private, hidden link on my website once your initial booking fee is paid. Your guests then have until the 14-day cut off to book their own spots!
-
3. The 14-Day "Lock-In"
-
Because I order in your specific pottery and materials 14 days in advance, all payments become non-refundable at this point. * If a guest can’t make it: Don't worry, they won't lose out! While I can't offer a refund as their items have already been bought and prepped, they have two lovely options: 1. Pottery-to-Go: I can pack their chosen piece up as a kit for them to paint at home. 2. The "Waiver": They can have a waiver to join one of my Pottery & Prosecco evenings at a later date to paint their piece in the studio. You may request for extra people to join your event if someone decides they want to come along - I will be able to tell you if this is possible depending on stock levels - it's always worth asking!
-
4. Cancellations
-
More than 14 days' notice: If you need to cancel the entire event, I will provide a full refund of any payments made minus £10 administration fee.
-
Within 14 days: Cancellations made within this window are non-refundable, as I will have already committed to the stock and staffing for your session.
-
5. Timing & Capacity
-
Group Size: Private hire is for a minimum of 10 guests and a maximum of 20.
-
Duration: Your booking is for 2.5 hours. This includes any time you might need for setting up decorations or clearing away your snacks.
-
6. Food, Drink & Decor
-
BYO: You are more than welcome to bring your own drinks (alcoholic or soft) and snacks. I provide the wine glasses, mugs, snack bowls, and plates—and I’ll even do the washing up!
-
Tea and Coffee is available to purchase.
-
Decorations: Feel free to bring balloons and table decor. To keep the studio looking its best, I just ask that you don’t use glitter, confetti, or any tape on the walls.
